Great news over Rafael wet gas discovery.

Looking forward to early cash flow from LPG & condensate.  Gas is harder to monetise but can be reinjected until  gas infrastructure is in place.  Early signs are that the volume is big enough for that needed to commercialise gas at such a remote location.

Origin had experience in running the Kincora processing plant in the Surat Basin for some years producing gas, LPG & condensate before off-loading it to AJQ.

Largest onshore gas discovery in Australia has been Warro in the Dandarragan Trough of the Perth Basin. 8-10TCF in place, estimated 3-4TCF recoverable. A tight gas field 7,000 ha in area, 3.75Km down, 390m gas column in the Yarragadee Formation.

Has proven difficult to commercialise to this point.  Domestic gas prices in WA have been low at only $3-4/GJ

Alcoa withdrew from part ownership a few years back.
