If a broking house hasn't been engaged (paid) to promote a stock then it doesn't happen by that broker. The individual brokers answer to their management with instructions issued at the morning meeting. Stock brokers are the identical twin to used car salesmen. Your wealth is of no interest to them only their own and the wealth of the company that they work for. They make their $ out of corporate work ,placements and advice with the commissions on these transaction way higher than they should be.Of course they look after their big clients otherwise the game ceases.And of course they are privvy to a heap of early information, probably semi available if small investors ask the right question of the relevant company.But us little people ,wood ducks they call us do it the hard way. Can you find a broker you trust ???? Thank the lord for commsec. we only have ourselves to blame.
