    I think this must be very close to the recipe used by some friends I stayed with in the nsw northern rivers region last week. For my taste it was amazing. If they were trying to encourage me to visit again soon they succeeded lol.

    Tomato doesn't dominate, the recipe includes milk (!) and other than seasoning, herbs are frowned at. Very simple whole food ingredients.

    Bought all the ingredients late this arvo and as I went to start cooking around 7 pm I realised it was 4 hours prep n cook !

    Its done now and needs simmering till 11 pm ... and it tastes beautiful so far and I'm sure its on the way to amazing.

    Sigh, tonights dinner was omlette by necessity.

    I reckon the author writes a great back story for the recipe and excellent instructions.

    Will let you know how it goes with visiting children tomorrow night.
