I did buy some Sunrice long grain rice from Woolies so that may have been the problem. I did rinse it but obviously it did not help my cause. I will look for some better rice next time at a specialty store to see if that helps with my cooking ventures.
Just marinating some diced lamb now in some Greek marinade that I had found of the net. Going to have lamb kebabs in pitta bread. Hopefully it turns out better than my rice dish.
