"Therefore, any rational thinking person should read Col 1:15 as --> In the mind and plans of God, known as glory, Jesus was the first born = of God's inner creation, the beginning of the creation of God Rev 3:14 and pre-slain in the mind and plans of God before the foundation (conception) of the world Rev 13:8.
Even without the Rev support verses, you have no option but to come to this conclusion, as well known OT passages show he was not literally first."

    OK, so ....
    Col 1:15 instead of saying
"15 who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: " KJV
or as the NIV puts it
"15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation."

    Paul should have written
"In the mind and plans of God, known as glory, Jesus was the first born = of God's inner creation, the beginning of the creation of God"
You can't really quote anything from Revelations since that did not exist at the time Paul wrote the letter.

Now what about a rewrite of Colossians 1:16
" .. because by means of him all other things were created in the heavens and on the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All other things have been created through him and for him."

I'm aware of your last para in the previous post as below, but it's not in a form that Paul would have written.

"So in short, what the Bible on the hole is saying, Jesus in the mind and plans of God (inner creation) was the firstborn, the beginning of the creation of God (inner creation) and all other things were created for the sake of etc, for this future one to be and when the times are fulfilled, all things will be and where placed into his hands, literally now --> before, head of all things until death no more where he will then be subject to God, the one that put all things under his feet. "

Over to you for some final polishing before we put it to MrG.
