One good thing about this is that it should keep any takeover ideas at bay until the situation is resolved and AVMs production profile explodes. Sure it could be a big distraction for management, but the expansion plans for the next 2 years are now well defined and funded. Outside of any serious problem in the DRC, we are seeing the early stages of what will become a large mining corporation over time imho. Despite all the rumours of its demise, I don't think that the metals bull is dead. A few kicks left in the old bull yet.

Unfortunately, I have come to the view myself that many nrg's have a vested interest in prolonging the suffering of the people they claim to be protecting. Agency theory at its "best" perhaps?
