HANCOCKS new roy hill to port hedland rail project in the pilbara has $9 bil tag. 340 km of new rail thru some challenging country using "only" $2.4bil.the rest ie $6.6bil is for a good size jetty n some locos n ore cars the whole caboodle!so i think that having the existing port infra.has got to be the huge plus.
