another issue is that slurrying will require very fine crushing (and grinding) - and many customers like their ore "crunchy" rather than "smoothie" (and pay extra for that privilege). Also it constrains you to crushing (and perhaps grinding) on site when that might be best done at the port ... Did they consider conveying?
