Given that I am considering buying this stock can someone tell me whether RIO and/or BHP have agreed to transport UMC ore using their rail infrastructure? Also in terms of rail spurs that traverse UMC tenements is there a timetable for construction? UMC has made mention in the past of the fact that Fortescue Metals Group also has a railway line 110 kms North of the Railway Prospect. Does anyone know the reason for this reference? Is it possibly that there may be capacity constraints from the much closer railway lines belonging to RIO and BHP and therefore UMC needed to consider other options?
Cheers
