Keep in mind the SPI 500 in the US has just wiped out the whole years gains and the Dow has wiped out all gains from Feb - to date.
For UMC not to be bouncing along the oversold line its doing well
Every day look first at the Dow - to see what context Oz is sitting in - then look at the ASX200 - and then look at your stock.
If your stock is not following the trend of the previous two - then blame (or congratulate) management - but blaming management of a small Ozzy miner for some Wall street banker being dumb enough to pay good money for for tens of billions of dollars of unsecured debt is a bit much.
