From what I am hearing the levy has ceased - basically it was a levy introduced by other ports to take advantage of the circus at Botany, also a way of getting all the exporters in a real panic to unite them to push back on the unions - its only for container packing, not bulk which is positive as bulk is wayy bigger than container packing in grains .
