    I did the "North Star" trail bike ride on the weekend. A thousand dirt bikes riding around farms in the golden triangle region of northern NSW.

    The crops are just magnificent. Planted on time, thick, dark green, just had 50 mills of rain, still full soil profiles on deep black soils. Bumper crop coming up for northern NSW. It will be a big crop even if it didn't rain again I'd reckon.

    Probably two thirds wheat, with some chickpeas, canola, and fallows ready for summer crops.
