Keep it up guys, I am loving it!!

So, let's get out of agriculture, because our climate is irregular, and taxpayers are sometimes called on to help smooth out the incomes of primary producers during unprecendented droughts.

Then we should get out of steel, because the dollar is too high, and our markets too small to generate economies of scale for the manufacturer.

Then we shouldn't be in car manufacture for the same reasons as steel (in fact they actually support each other - if car manufacture stops, then flat steel loses 20% of it's market, and becomes unviable anyway).

Shortly after that, we will stop producing consumer goods because the canning and producing of food is cheaper by 30% in New Zealand.

Aluminium is solidified electricity, and uneconomic in this country once we tax carbon dioxide, so we will stop producing it.

We shouldn't cut down trees, so let's get out of timber products.

Retailers with physical bricks and mortar - who maintain retail outlets and warehouses, and pay council rates, and corporate taxes, have retail staff, and hold stock of products that we can touch and feel, and pay GST - they can't compete with online international webshops, who do none of that (especially not pay GST). So let them go out of business too.

    What are we left with?
Mining, yes that is true - although the boom has peaked and it's downhill from here.
Oh, yes, there is the service industry. Hard to see how it will operate though - without the other industries that produce things feeding it.
