"250m more that year and you call it a subsidy?"
No class action has been finalised.
No official rulings on anything.
No financial compensation has been ordered by the courts.
so, yes, I call it a subsidy.
Outbreaks, droughts, cyclones, floods, earthquakes all happen from time to time. It's all part of the deal. You can't protect yourself from everything. Hell, you can't really protect yourself from anything. Farmers are aware of these risks
in private business, when the proverbial hits the roof, and the tax-payer takes the burden it's called a subsidy.
"If you dare to come and criticise the hard"
If you can find anywhere in any of my postings where I farmers, I'll be happy to apologise
However, people have been calling ME "idiot" etc for drawing their attention to BILLIONS in government payments that, until 48 hours ago, they were completely unaware of.
Over to you dollface.
P.S: farmer suicide is bloody tragic! I am well aware of it. Don't bold your letters and (not-so-subtly) insinuate that I am either unaware or cold hearted enough to not care. That's gutter style.
