That’s a great link hml:
“CONTRACTOR RCR Tomlinson says a new contract for work at the 110MW Wemen solar farm has been agreed to and no employees have been left unpaid.
It follows a statement from the Electrical Trades Union this week in which secretary Troy Gray slammed RCR after it entered its second trading halt this year.”....
Electrical Trades Union has been full on slamming RCR as not just dead in the rhombus, but dead in the water which is the last curse we need on top of everything else .
Mind you everything else is serious enough .
The market is vicious at the moment with Worley Parsons a classic example
Another example : Maca announced a profit downgrade last Thursday and almost instantly lost 30% of its market cap .
Maca gave reasonable causes - extra costs ( a new fleet) and delays - and was firmly reassuring about how it is placed for the future .
It expects ts H1 revenue of $300M to generate between $7M and $9M profit.
Still there was a selling frenzy : /
Maca also has a director who seized the opportunity and bought put $70 grand worth of shares whereas here the beast is a bit headless .
But not quite?
RCR has also seen Director buying subsequent to the cap raising from some of those left :
David Robinson - $10 grand .....this is him : https://www.rcrtom.com.au/media/2446/220218-rcr-appointment-of-david-robinson.pdf...
Also Sue Palmer - $46,450 ....this is her :
![]()
Sue bought shares on 12 October at 96c as I recall. That’s not so long ago.
I presume she believed 96c was value buying and I presume, from her background, she understood the financial situation of RCR.
Maybe things won’t be all that bad on Tuesday?
One can only hope .
Cheers
