    ANNOUNCES $7.2 MILLION MT GEE DRILLING PROGRAM

    Marathon Resources Ltd (ASX Code: MTN), announced today it had raised $15.5 million of its $27 million

    expects other investors to take up the balance.

    The rights issue closed with Marathon shareholders taking up about 57% of the entitlement

    Talbot Group Holdings Pty Ltd and CITIC Australia Pty Ltd - 19.59%

    Marathon’s Directors - 11.23%
