There is a thread on the 'Humour' forum called 'raising retirement age to 70'.


It got me once again considering that increasing the age of retirement is a must.

For rationale, consider this article - "Australian trends in life expectancy".

I think it's not just the 'quantity' of life that has increased/risen over the last 50-60 years, but the 'quality' of life also ('quality' with reference to physical and mental abilities retained).

I'm past 'retirement age', but still working and happy and fulfilled by doing so. I'm sure I'm not Robinson Crusoe.
