Here's the ad;
I searched "Raiz 2023 tv ad"
First thoughts;
1. Unlike the first (amateur-hour) Raiz TV campaign - this ad is clear and simple. Two characters, simple dialogue. Well done Raiz - big improvement.
3. Glad they ran the logo for a decent amount of time at the end. Again - better than the first TV campaign.
3. Despite the company announcement, this ad doesn't actually use the tag line "Raise Your Game" which I thought was a smart tag line - with a double meaning linking the big bash game to a new year's resolution to make 2024 better. Shame.
4. When creating an ad, you should be clear who is the customer in the ad. Who is "me". In this ad, "me" is the guy buying coffee. He starts the ad as a nice relatable guy - so I correctly assume "I'm" him and not the barista. But at the end of the ad, he is a complete moron... wandering off as an idiot who left 80 cents with the barista to invest. The barista thinks he's a complete idiot too. Even the guy self-identifies as an idiot "I really don't know what I am doing" So, in fact, no one in the ad is "me" or the "customer". But the start of the ad confused things because it looked like I was the guy.
