yes i agree, i have recently started using raiz because it helps me to feel like my savings are doing something, i spent a large part of my life hoarding every last dollar , only to realise it did absolutely nothing for me being cash, so i put my money into investing, investing for me is a 1 - 5 year time frame, which means i cant always sell shares as it may be at a loss or other investments such as whisky etc. because they are long term. raiz allows me to save but invest at the same time. it makes me commit to keeping the money in there like an investment (rather than pulling it out to over leverage in shares) but also focus on my long term savings goal, rather then lament about what my cash could be doing. speaking as a 36 year old millennial
