Acer Channel Alert : Acer Price Increases
Acer over the past 8 weeks has been absorbing the effect on pricing of the current volatile foreign exchange rate fluctuations which in some cases is as much as 47% (from the highest point to the lowest). As a responsible company however, we have reached a point where we have to take the necessary action of increasing our pricing below the current average exchange rate in the market.
Hence, I am formally advising Acer is increasing its current pricing effective immediately across all our pricebooks by 25%.
Our first priority will be to honour all orders from our clients till close of business today.
Acer will also honour any quotes in APeC or Acerlink for 14 days from close of business today ie quotes with an end date of 18th November.
It is also important to note Acer still has limited quantity of some products based on the previous exchange rate which can be negotiated directly with your Acer Channel Manager on a first in basis until those products are exhausted.
