ramblings and the captain: the story so fa

Well, there you have it folks.

The Captain comes on to the thread and haughtily asks “does anything change in your day to day ramblings about this stock�.

He then goes on to make his own ‘rambling’ contribution, as per the following:

“I wonder if anyone has bothered to research competitors or simply done a research on Saliva tests. There are dozens out there and many that have FDA approval already and at similar prices.
Again, not downramping as i hold many but just giving people an even perspective on things. DYOR and then realise HGR aren’t world beaters�.

Hey, on second thoughts, that’s actually more than a ramble. Despite his protestations to the contrary, what is “HGR ARE NOT WORLD BEATERS� if not a down ramp?

And what is this statement based upon? His finding of various product sites that ‘demonstrate’ FDA approval of other products and which are a similar price to Oraline (but, interestingly, he makes no mention of Oraline’s superior THC detection capacity).

Captain also admits to contrary views out there (ie web sites and HGR management claiming there are no products with FDA approval) so why does he not check the truth and veracity of both views before coming to the conclusion that “HGR ARE NOT WORLD BEATERS�?

As others have shown, it was easy as pie finding out the truth. I emailed the MD, gsw emailed the site that claimed FDA approval and as pedroese said, it “took me all of one minute to find a US newspaper article stating that there are no FDA approved POC multidrug screens�.

Within hours, we had all the answers in.

The MD said ‘thanks for bringing this website to my attention, unfortunately there are a lot of cowboys in this industry and none of the devices on the website have FDA 510(k) clearance, actually they don’t even use the right language in propagating their lies as the FDA don’t approve anything, they clear devices but never approve anything. As for CE Mark, this is a self certification program hence it’s not difficult to obtain CE Mark clearance, it only becomes and issue if and when the authorities come to check your documentation to see if your device really stands up to CE Mark requirements�

The manager of the Home Health UK Ltd website, that so easily convinced Captain that HGR are NO WORLD BEATERS, has now said “I must apologise for the error on the site. I did not notice this I will have that line removed. They are not FDA Approved�

You have to ask why didn’t Captain do this simple research before posting his hopelessly inaccurate and negative observations (or should that be ‘ramblings’)?

In response to people taking exception to his ill-advised commentary, Captain gets on his high horse and says “If we want to just keep posting rosy future type threads then so be it.�

No Captain, I don’t think many of us are in that groove. I think we are realists and are willing to encounter negative stories and facts – and many of those have been discussed in the past. Generally, however a lot of this story is ‘rosy’ at the moment and some of us are giving expression to that. (as well as our view that it’s going to get even rosier over the next couple of weeks).

So call it ‘ramblings’ if you want Captain, but be mindful of your own contributions. Your recent posts have really shown you to be the emperor without any clothes.

Ramble we might sometimes. But accurate rambles are better than inaccurate down ramps any day.

Besides, as tallmantim posted in response to Captain “reiterating things that have been said before do not assist you, but they certainly help a newcomer (such as myself) learn from the people who have been following this stock for a long time, and may assist them with choosing to invest in something we believe in - it's how I got onto the stock in the first place�.

Or, as pedroese pointed out, “…the long-term HGR posters have invested in HGR because of the significant amount of research done into the background knowledge on saliva testing, FDA process, govt legislation, etc. We are not nor have we assumed this is an easy process for HGR or a short-term trade but it just happens that some of the initial reasons for our investment are coming to fruition very soon AND ITS ENJOYABLE DISCUSSING THE POSSIBILITIES.� (I changed the case, to emphasise his point).

So Captain, if you find the ‘rambles’ boring, just don’t read them.

But Captain, your genuine contributions will always be welcome. But could you please not insult posters with haughty generalisations and, more importantly, not put out strong negative statements (that can only be construed as down ramping) that are based on ill-founded research (or no research at all).
