GK thanks, that's effectively how I decide what (amount) trade to place but don't bother to look at beta, some shares move a lot eg NCM and some a little eg TLS.
Boy I am glad I haven't touched gold shares for years although NCM would have been a great on for CFD trading doubling up/ down it has yo yo ed for almost a year between 2 big limits,
