    Don't bank on the CDC guidelines making much difference. They will be very similar to the 2G guidelines. They will still say use TST or IGRA (not both) but will not encourage the use of IGRAs.
    They will not recommend the use IGRAs in children.
    This time they will cover both QFT and the Spot assay with no distinction between the two.
