Port Hedland Port Authority statistics show that four shipments totalling 29421 tonnes of spod were shipped during October. The last ship was African Venture which left on the 28th with 11070 tonnes to China via Esperance. The next ship looks like it could be the Nikolaos A which is now at anchorage.
By all reports the sheds at both ends are full so we will need regular ships to keep it moving. We will all be much happier when those bloody shorters ease up on us.
