i'm assuming that DRASTIC fund rate cuts (>150bp's) by us fed would ease some ARM pain.
also assume that such a move would open another can of economic worms for americans to digest (inflation)
any way you look at this it's an unholy mess, not likely cleaned up easily or quickly
