    Ok. So let me ask another question then, if I may. What is it you don't like about PTM?
    (Yes, I understand that PTM is quite a different beast from HGG, and I'm making the fairly uninformed assertion that you don't like PTM, on the basis that you haven't included it on your list of prospective opportunities).

    Its not that I actively dislike PTM as the sort of business I like to buy; it's just that I liked HGG more, both in the more granular, more globally scale-able nature of what it does for a living, and also in terms of its relative valuation.

    If its any consolation, and for what its worth, I'd sooner own PTM than MFG or any of the the market dinosaurs of AMP, BTT, and PPT.

    But anyway, its all academic, because I ended up buying none of them.

    Instead, I bought a relatively unknown regional retail bank in the UK with geographic presence in the economically challenged northern districts of England, and Scotland.

    Jokingly, I call it my Brexit arbitrage play!
