People sell at whatever price they want to sell at for any reason or reasons.

For a lot of people, one of the very reasons is what barrelscraper mentioned, they aren't confident the benefits of any eventual divestment of Solgold for example, will accrue to them in proportion to their holdings.

It certainly is not a case of the market not knowing what DGR is all about. The market does know, and has assigned a value accordingly. Which is that the subs are not in fact assets at this moment.

What they do now is suck cash from the parent company with no return looking imminent, and of course the uncertainty that shareholders will get to enjoy the full benefit of these returns if and when they happen.

Imagine what would happen to the sp if the company announced an in specie distribution of its Solgold holdings to shareholders.

NM has a vision for the company that in the short term unfortunately yields little or no reward for long time shareholders. This is as much pressure as can be brought to bear on the board to 'toss a bone' to shareholders.

Except as BM mentioned, recent shareholders of which I am one, fortunately.

It's not that funds see no value in the company. It's that they understand that only NM and the board can unlock it.

There's plenty of value in the company.
