That appears different to the explanation given by MMR on their 27 Feb 09 SPP at the following site:

"Subscription Price and Closing Date
The subscription price will be 90% of the average market price (as defined in the Listing Rules of
ASX Limited (“ASX”)) of Shares in AuDAX quoted on ASX during the preceding 5 days on which sales are recorded before the day on which the issue of Shares under the Share Purchase Plan is made (“Issue Date”) (“Subscription Price”).
The closing date for receipt of applications is 5:00pm WDST on Friday 20 March 2009.
The Company anticipates that the Issue Date will be on or about 25 March 2009."

The current offer states:

"Eligible shareholders can purchase shares, at a 10% discount to the weighted average price of the last 5 days
prior to the day on which the issue is made." The Anticipated Shareholder Share Purchase Plan closing date is 28th September 2009" (Monday); according to my reckoning the 'Issue Date' will be about Monday 4th October with the "weighted average price of the last 5 days prior to the day on which the issue is made" being from 28th September to the 4th October. It is clear that subscribers will not know how many shares they are subscribing to until 4th October (unless the rules have changed).
