Desperate times call for desperate things.Recently in both Somaliland and Puntland companies with questionable track record have been going around saying we have done seismic work which is fals.

First as a Puntland I would like to inform you that Range Resource together with its sister associated company Africa Oil listed on the TSX code AOI did not have any seismic done as was posted recently.

Secondly, they want to use previous data that was illegally obtained to purport being theirs and a serious legal challenge will come from both ENI (AGIP) and Conocco Phillips consortiums.

Thirdly, the new Petroleum law will be debated soon in parliament when new Ministers selected and sworn in.It is envisaged that Ministers will technical and proven experience will be chosen.

Lastly, the Puntland President has said that oil and resource exploration will be put on hold.Please do find someone who understands Somali or try translations softwares that are available for a meager sum.
