and of course he has worked for The Australian Newspaper for over 20 years.
Gough Whitlam was a great PM.
Probably our best in that his changes changed the course of this country.
On social reform and economic management his record in hindsight is very good in comparison to all previous and subsequent PM's and Governments.
Look at what HE ACHIEVED and not what was reported in the papers.At the time he was changing the country and he threatened the status quo.The Murdoch Press,The Fairfax Press and The Packer Press combined to kill this reforming Government.They succeeded by brain washing the Australian people.
