They are socialists, its not their money remember. Spending is for morons (easy) and labor are the best, saving and planning takes skill and commitment, that is where the libs come in. That has just been a fact of life for generations. Keating was at best, comptetent compared with the rag time team of wannabes labor have produced ever since.

Howard had 11 years of good luck. As a country our good luck began in March 1996 and ended in December 2011.
