Maybe if you HAD used a chart you would have sold a large chunk of your holdings at 44c and then bought them back at maybe 34c on the way back up and those percentages would look even more impressive.
One may prefer FA as an investment strategy but to deny the usefulness of TA, especially in the context of protecting against substantial loss of capital, is just plain stubborn.
