Point is, how much mind space are telehealth companies, hospitals etc going to devote to rolling out new tech, basically anywhere in the word at the moment? America fx*?ed, UK and Europe fx*?ed, most of the world apart from us really. I don't think we in Australia appreciate how overwhelmed overseas medical systems are compared to whats happening here.

Telehealth companies would be trying to keep their servers and systems from crashing due to the unprecedented volumes they are no doubt experiencing and making sure they have enough capacity etc going forward and can keep up.

Hospitals as well, do we think they have a lot of spare time to sit around as well and talk about the implementation of something that doesn't have the ability to diagnose Covid?
Am sure many of them think the idea is fantastic like many of us but are also thinking, we have one hell of a fire to put out before we can entertain the idea of anything else. Sadly our Tech at this point does not assist in putting the fire out.

Once this all blows over and Covid becomes nothing more than a common cold is when our tech will have its time in the sun, respiratory disease and illness is not going anywhere and neither is the need to diagnose it.

I believe there is no question that Telehealth is the future and at this point there is no other way to diagnose respiratory illness using these platforms.
Once you experience telehealth it will be hard to go back to waiting in a doctors surgery with people coughing, spluttering and vomiting all over the place. Not to mention getting to the appointment and waiting an eternity while this is all going on around you because the surgery has booked in patients every 3.5 minutes seemingly oblivious that consultations may take longer. A simple trip potentially taking hours out of your day. Compare this to something you could do in the time it takes you to have a cup of tea.

Small steps and continuing to gain credibility in the industry for the product and the science is key because when things do calm down, all these telehealth companies in particular will want to value add and make more money from their newly swollen client bases.

Covid has certainly been a blessing and a curse for this company. While it no doubt pushed back our ability to commercialise in a meaningful way by 12,18 maybe even 24 months, the markets we want to sell into have grown substantially and will be much more receptive when the time is right.

Having said all that and am obviously still bullish, I need to also say that i'm just as unhappy as many with the way the company has been handling things. Communication in particular has been woeful. As far as i'm concerned, if you can't communicate you can't sell.
If TK can't communicate and sell a vision coupled with a clear strategic way forward to shareholders at this point in the game, what hope does he have with the medical fraternity and telehealth providers?

It's for this reason I feel we need an absolute bulldog salesman as CEO, an absolute gun! In my experience, and no offence to any accountants out there, they are mostly great at what they do however rarely are accountants good at leading a company into commercialisation and growth. Im confident the same can be said for doctors. Just like those professions of their field, it takes a certain personality, mindset and skillset and experience to succeed in sales and leading a company where we now need to go at this point in our lifecycle.

It is for this reason I believe Tony should be relegated to just being a team member rather than the captain, not trying to necessarily diminish his importance to the company or some of his achievements to date but just feel he would be better suited as a foil for the salesman/leader the company needs right now.

There is a window to get our house in order to take advantage of the real opportunity for this company when it presents itself in the not too distant future. Is Mike Connell the man, I tend to think not, I see him more as a sales manager type, I could be wrong.

It's time for a heavy hitter to lead us forward and I think one of our top priorities should be a global search for this person, now!, so they have time to formulate a proper sales strategy and are in a position to execute in 2o22. Unfortunately I can't see much company making progress being made before then. Having said that, if we could lock down Medgate this year, it would be a good start and a good springboard from which to launch into the greater telehealth space.

As for the board, i think a good shake and the installation of new equally heavy hitting blood is in order and overdue.
