All great discussion here.
Like all apps and technologies, it's always easier to give something free to the consumer to sample while holding off on the total solution. Once the consumer is convinced the indicative version works, they upgrade the app to a higher diagnostic version which comes with all the follow up suggestions. Of course the app is collecting every piece of data and applying machine learning to that for a constantly improving diagnosis. I would imagine RAP want this to be an end to end solution so when the app gets your diagnosis, it emails the result to your listed clinic/pharmacy, suggests the nearest clinic or gives the customer next step suggestions. This is why I believe the insurance companies will be all over this and Sanofi are the first movers on this as they would have close business with large insurers. The insurers can avoid the entire doctor or hospital visit costs while keeping the premiums as they are.
