Major drawbacks/disadvantages with a smart stethoscope compared with RAP. Firstly the patient has to be present at the examination. Secondly the doctor is only going to be right 70% (or a small margin more) of the time in the diagnosis. Thirdly the patient has to be present at the examination. Fourth the patient has to be present at the examination. That is why it is called Telehealth...like comparing a manual whistle with a car horn or siren...bad analogy but you know what I mean. A Doctor with access to both would use RAP yes? No internet required soon when the separate testing devices are done and dusted....so all bases covered and the new whizzbang stethoscope will have a place hanging on the wall of the surgery holding the blind or curtain in place IMHO. No real competition so don't let it disturb you...unless you want to sell out of RAP and invest in the smart stethoscope company? I will stick with RAP... Horse called Teleplay racing at Caulfield today BTW... Shade of odds too. I will have $25 to win $1000 and see what happens lol.
