The thing is the field, once fully established if efing huge and definitly big enough to support a number of large players. We hhave so much on our side its not even funny, a working product, multiple successful trials, certification in a large part of the Western world, patents, contracts, publication in journals.

So what if another app is built and rolled out to the developers mates/contacts. We'll have our own established piece of the pie by that stage. We are all operating in a capatilist free market where consumer choice is king. If we were worried that competition is on the horizon we better head to North Korea for our next investment opportunitie!
