Evening rappers and rappettes,
As a pharmacist, this tool will revolutionize the way we attack respiratory conditions. Can't wait to be able to dx patients and be able to refer to the doctor when needed with a quick cough into the phone, and the positive integration that this app will cause our business's to have with medical practices.
In
@mumstheword case, the classic ACEI cough associated with BP meds is hard to differentiate from a standard viral/ dry cough on sole symptom presentation. Therefore changing drugs and more common than not, the entire class of medication to something different occurs, as this is the only option for our patients, due to the difficulty in being able to establish whether the drug is responsible or not. This leads to confusion with patients and opens another can of worms, particularly in the elderly whom have been taking the suscepected culprit drug for many years.
Good luck with the GP consult in person MTW, bare with cough, it can stick around for a little longer even after the drug change.
Can't wait for you to see your GP through your phone, cough for a diagnosis, and then get your prescription delivered by your pharmacist to your house, all without you leaving the home!
Love the RAP app!
