Hi Siva...IMO nobody other than those inside the tent at Uniquest really know how 'safe' those shares are. There could be lots of reasons for selling at least some of the options....their Charter might require it...they may choose to monetise some in order to fund additional research projects elsewhere...they may have an obligation to the UoQ to repay some of the R&D monies if certain commercial milestones are hit. Who knows?

These are all really just variants of taking profits as your investment appreciates, and institutions like Uniquest will always have a far more structured approach in that regard than the average retail investor.
