Remote area power systems and load leveling power systems are going to boom in Australia over the coming decade.
Pinnacle's redox battery with it's long life, deep cycling capacity and low maintenance is going to be a valued part of this future.

Small units (10kW for a number of hours) are going to support remote aboriginal communities and farms where they can 'load shift' the output of solar or wind power generators towards demand periods. The batteries can also improve the efficiency of diesel gensets by allowing them to run for shorter periods at optimum load rather than all day at low (and inefficient) loads.

Larger units (200+kW) will start appearing as termination load levellers to improve power quality at the distant ends of grid systems. There may even come a day when income streams may be generated by using the batteries to arbitrage power from low-cost night time supply into high cost daytime airconditioning.

Many things change as oil heads to $200 barrel and trading of carbon credits becomes reality. I can see a decade hence when the local accountant as well as setting up small real estate syndicates could set up local carbon trading syndicates to buy old, inefficient carbon emitters and rebuild more efficient new ones incorporating batteries to profict from the sale of carbon credits.

Lots of PCE shareholders seem to see this coming as well, share price rising, sellers holding, new capital coming in.
