I talk to much so let me simplify the above. P/E stands for stock price divided by earnings per share. Earnings going up raises PE. SP going down lowers PE. We both agree earnings go up. What makes you think that Price would go down while earnings go up? Which it would have to do if earnings went up to AUD 100M / yr. to achieve a PE of 8. What makes you think SP would not rise if profits were over AUD 400 Million a year. Makes zero sense to me.
