To quote Wiki:
The infinite monkey theorem states that a monkey hitting keys at random on a typewriter keyboard for an infinite amount of time will almost surely type any given text, such as the complete works of William Shakespeare.
As stated the claim is untrue and shows a basic lack of understanding of the mathematics.
Here's a more accurate statement (based on the epsilon-delta definition of limits):
Take any given text X. The complete works of WS will do.
Nominate a probability P- 50% or 99.999% or whatever- that some hard working monkey will type X (along with a whole load of gibberish or maybe some Dylan Thomas).
Then there IS a finite time T where the (hard working and long lived) monkey who types for that long has a probability of at least P of typing X.
