As word slowly filters out from this morning's AGM that Lynas are going to halt production at their Malaysian processing plant in December, rare earth prices are undoubtedly going to surge.
Couple this with China announcing last month that they will be reducing their rare earth exports and this is a perfect storm for the company! It's going to result in a strong increase in profitability (even off the back of less output) for the December quarter.
Add into the mix that the Malaysian Government is now expected to announce that the LAMP can continue operating following the safety review and the Lynas NEXT campaign kicking into gear and we are going to have one hell of a surge in the company's share price soon folks!!!
Rare earth prices are going to surge!
