I read a news article today that suggested that China is seeking to build up its stocks of REO's so that it can dominate the production of EV's in 2021-2022; Subsidizing internal production is one way to ensure they meet their Paris deadlines ! I wonder if Tesla will be included in the "Quota's" ? It is also a clever way to avoid having to export (what Embargo ?) anything to the US !

I also wonder how long it is going to be before the Yanks wake up to the fact that they will not be getting any REE's in 2021 ?
