(I had the opportunity recently to meet Senator Arthur Sinodinos, who is expected to be Australia’s new Ambassador in Washington. I asked if he’d heard about Lynas Corporation, and rare earths. He replied that he had, and said he understood that this would be a subject for discussion by the PM in Washington later this week.

I talked with him about the importance of Lynas’s current unique RE processing technology (outside China), especially its hard-won IP in the very complex LAMP facility. We both agreed that the JV in Texas is a good idea....)
