Thanks for posting this Blue Samurai ....and unfortunately , at this current time , I don't think it has the Forums' readers attention and discussion it deserves .
Lifton hones in on the future impact on the Corona virus and the necessity and urgency , to move away from non -Chinese based source material and manufacturing in Rare earths .
And the cost , with the stark disclosure that "cost" previously being the driving factor to trend to Chinese sourcing , will go out the window .
However ---enter the Alkane JV with the South Korean's and the new technology , now well into pilot scale development . Should it replicate the Alkane Lucas Heights years or trialing , combined with the South Korean proven new technology at a pilot/commercial scale , this will address both mining source ( Australia/Dubbo/Toongi) and cost of manufacturing , which is estimated to HALVE the Kroll process currently widely and exclusively used ....and with the added benefit of its application to other metals beyond rare earths .
The world may have been currently set on its backside by this Corona virus ...but coming out of it on the other side , may be huge changes to sourcing and manufacturing "goods"--rare earth essentials being one as being "critical metals".
Once again --part of Alkane's armoury , along with Tomingley /Tomingley South / Boda ...to maintain its medium and long term market attractiveness for investors .
