Because the focus has been on Mt York due to the gold price probably and capital required to develop an REE plant would be huge.
The point I make is China has changed the game so perhaps there is an opportunity to monetise the discovery through a JV or outright tenement sale.
Merely speculation on my part and there is value there.
The US government is supportive with DTR despite it being ASX listed but with a US deposit due to China restricting exports and a shortage of processing facilities and deposits in US.
The challenges for KAI would be capital and time. Lynas is not far away.
