i dont believe its the property investors bushing up the prices so much, i believe its the real estate companies managing these properties who are pushing up the prices atm, a conflict of interest, push up the rental prices to a point where its cheaper to buy gives them sales in a market where sales are hard to come by.
Any time you buy property its an investment, living in the house or renting it out, your investing money in a hard asset. only time will tell if its a good or bad investment in the current market
