I remember in 08 when the markets were under pressure, the index traders would trade well from the announcement, from memory if it popped on announcement they would short and vice versa.At the time I know a bit of fun was had in predicting the figure by using TA. Memory serves me that Treggs on XJO used to often discuss it.
There would have to be serious hits on the markets today/tonight for them not to go up IMO.
