is that about the time props peaked big time...and then there was the asian crisis to deal with that kept all in the doldrums..... ps this is just lite on history from memory....lots of other things going on at the time do know some props in toorak doubled in price in those heady days.....only to drift back down by 1999....then we had the tech wreck of 2000 and they all rushed back into props again to 2003 only differences I can see is the mindset of investors....although we had a bigger proportion of old schools in the 1990's...mixed with boomers.... more wary of the gen Y's out there today and how they handle it cheers
