    rezok, keep a eye on the 2, 5 and 10 year fixed rates.

    Warnie has mentioned this on a few occasions. This will tell the future story as the banks make money out of getting the interest rate direction right. At the moment about .5% between 2 year and 10 year fixed.

    The 10 year fixed at mid 6% or lower may arise or may not and window for opportunity might not be very big. Unless watched regulary 10 year fixed rates could shift up from where ever the low is well before the RBA increases rates again one day.

    I'm not saying that this is the best theory but it's a pretty simple one that has merit.

    Who knows really at the end of the day but to me money in the mid 6% range is pretty cheap and if money can't be made out of that then it probably won't be made at 5% either
